F1 Star Valtteri Bottas shows off his Mercedes-AMG One upon delivery and oh my, does it look good.
There are many perks of being a formula one driver, fast cars, luxury lifestyle and let’s not forget the pay packet. One huge benefit, however, is that many get offered the opportunity to purchase some of the most exclusive cars on the planet. F1 Star Valtteri Bottas shows off his Mercedes-AMG One too the public for the first time as he takes delivery.
The Mercedes-AMG One is statement in power, performance, and technology. With a $2.75 million price tag and only 275 units being built, not only do you have to flash the cash, but you also must be someone special to be granted an allocation. Luckily for F1 superstar Valtteri Bottas, his 5-year stint alongside f1 legend Lewis Hamilton and multiple podiums place him as a golden boy in the AMG archives, and no good deed goes unrewarded. In 2020 Valtteri Bottas was also provided an allocation for the Mercedes AMG Black Series which is rumoured to currently be in storage in Monaco. This addition to the garage however, we can’t see not being cast to storage.
The Mercedes-AMG One is powered by a 782KW 1.6-litre twin turbocharged V6 engine assisted by AMG’s latest Hybrid technology – 1049hp, c.2.8sec 0-60mph and a top speed of 219mph.
From the photo’s it seems Valtteri Bottas has gone for his iconic blue for the exterior paint and a very clean cut black Alcantara on the inside. No doubt the car will be flooded with carbon components and materials I’m sure many have never heard of but its safe to say, this will truly be one of a kind.
If memory serves us correct, considering Lewis Hamilton’s Pagani Zonda was crashed not too long ago by its second owner, these cars can end up in new ownership over time so, if you’re thinking of saving your pennies, you may have to save a few, but maybe one day it could be yours…. Well, we can dream.
