  • The vehicle is not stolen or subject to undisclosed finance
  • Images used belong to you or you have permission to use them

We reserve the right to remove listings that:

6. Listing Fees

SwapAuto may charge a listing fee or other promotional fees.

Fees:

  • Are displayed before payment
  • May change from time to time
  • Are generally non-refundable once the listing is published

Payment processing may be handled by third-party payment providers.

7. Transactions Between Users

SwapAuto does not participate in transactions between buyers and sellers.

We:

  • Do not guarantee the accuracy of listings
  • Do not verify vehicle condition
  • Are not responsible for payment disputes

Users should conduct their own checks including:

  • HPI / vehicle history checks
  • Viewing vehicles in person
  • Verifying ownership and documentation

8. Messaging System

Our platform allows users to message each other.

You agree not to use messaging to:

  • Send spam
  • Harass or abuse other users
  • Conduct fraud or scams
  • Share illegal content

We may monitor or restrict messaging to maintain platform safety.

9. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

  • List stolen vehicles
  • Misrepresent vehicles
  • Circumvent listing fees
  • Scrape or copy platform content
  • Use the platform for illegal activities

Violation may result in:

  • Account suspension
  • Listing removal
  • Reporting to authorities

10. Business Promotions and Advertising

SwapAuto may allow businesses to promote services such as:

  • dealerships
  • vehicle finance
  • insurance
  • repair services

These promotions do not constitute endorsements.

SwapAuto is not responsible for services provided by third-party advertisers.

11. Intellectual Property

All platform content including:

  • logos
  • branding
  • design
  • software

is owned by SwapAuto or its licensors.

You may not reproduce or distribute content without permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, SwapAuto shall not be liable for:

  • losses arising from transactions between users
  • inaccurate listings
  • vehicle defects
  • financial loss or disputes between users

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for platform services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by negligence
  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • any liability which cannot be excluded under UK law

13. Account Suspension or Termination
