The New 2024 Aston Martin Vantage
It seems as the window for creating combustion engine cars is closing, car enthusiasts are being hounded by new performance vehicles hitting the market. Today, Aston Martin have awoken us with the new 2024 Aston Martin Vantage

From the off-set, we must say the exterior does look similar to the last generation. Yes, there are sleeker lines, more aero and a more ‘stanced’ look but honestly, if you saw one float past on the M25 while filling up your car with fuel… you probably wouldn’t tell the difference.
Interior
The interior however, is a different story altogether. New screens, new controls and a new look and feel. Its safe to say considering the huge uplift in style and useability in the cockpit, previous gen owners may feel short come by. The previous vantage was always a pretty car but my god did it lack the interior style and finish expected in a £100,000 sports car. The new interior is a much needed refresh and with the optional Aston Martin Sports seats added, it looks to be a really well thought out proposition.

Residuals
A questionable thought however, is what will this new update do for the previous Gen? Well, its become common knowledge the used car market has taken a bit of a slump and with such a drastic change in a product offering it leaves us feeling previous Gen owners are once again going to get hit hard by residuals. Astons aren’t known for holding value but when there’s such a drastic difference, would the original still tickle your fancy? We think not.

Statistics
Anyway, back to the stats, Aston say the new car comprises of a 4.0L twin-turbo charged V8 pushing 202MPH and a 0-60 of 3.4 seconds. As most models have already been pre-purchased its also likely we will see these on the road by Q2/Q3 2024 so keep your eyes pealed on the roads and at Goodwood’s Festival of Speed as you may see a few!

Price
How much is the new Aston Martin Vantage? Well.. it will set you back around £134,000 to £160,000 dependant on specification and yes, we know, that’s expensive!
Conclusion
In conclusion, there’s not a massive amount to rave about here considering first drive reviews haven’t been conducted. yes, it looks nice, yes its and uplift, but is it really something special, or is it what the previous Gen should have been? We’ll have to wait and see.
