An Icon Returns: The New Aston Martin Vanquish 2024

Aston Martin has unveiled the all-new Vanquish, a masterpiece that will propel the brand to a new era of luxury and performance. This latest iteration of the Vanquish redefines the concept of a grand tourer with a supercar’s heart, powered by a formidable 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 engine. This powerhouse generates an astonishing 824 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque, making it the fastest series-production Aston Martin ever, with a top speed of 214 mph and the ability to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds.

The Vanquish’s performance is complemented by a sophisticated chassis that is 75% stiffer laterally than its predecessor, the DBS 770 Ultimate. This enhanced stiffness, paired with advanced suspension technologies like Bilstein DTX dampers and larger anti-roll bars, ensures the Vanquish delivers both exhilarating dynamics and luxurious comfort. Additionally, the car features Carbon Ceramic Brakes, bespoke Pirelli P ZERO™ tyres, and Corner Braking 2.0 technology, all of which contribute to its precise handling and superior driving experience.

Aston Martin’s engineers have also equipped the Vanquish with a range of cutting-edge systems, including a new Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) with multiple driving modes, and an advanced e-diff that optimises performance across various driving conditions. The car’s eight-speed ZF automatic transmission, mounted in the rear, further enhances its balanced weight distribution and agility.

Visually, the Vanquish is a marvel, combining assertive styling with elegant proportions. Its carbon fibre body parts not only reduce weight but also enhance the car’s aesthetic appeal. The interior, as expected from Aston Martin, is a blend of luxury and technology, offering a driver-focused environment with state-of-the-art infotainment systems and premium materials.

With fewer than 1,000 units to be produced annually, the new Vanquish is set to be a rare and highly coveted addition to the Aston Martin line-up. Deliveries are expected to begin in Q4 2024, and the car is already making waves as the ultimate expression of British automotive excellence.
